So how has the season gone in your eyes? Was it better or worse than you expected last August?
Our season has been much better than expected. After Tony Mowbray left nobody knew what to expect from Roberto Di Matteo. However after only having one previous season as a manager, he's done fantastic for us. All Albion fans hoped for promotion back in August but few of us expected to go up automatically after the managerial upheaval.
Who has been your best player over the season? Who has improved the most during 2009/10?
Graham Dorrans has been absolutely awesome. Livingston must be kicking themselves they sold him for only £100k. He's easily worth ten-times that amount now. He's the most talent player I've seen at The Hawthorns and hope he can stay fit and in form next season. I think he'll surprise a few people just how good he is.
What was the best moment of the season for your side?
Unfortunately I couldn't get a ticket to watch the boys clinch promotion away at Doncaster Rovers which would've been special. There have been a few memorable moments this season - some good, some bad. We've had some cracking results home and away but the best moment would have to be the celebratory victory over Middlesbrough at The Hawthorns. Everybody was in a great mood, the sun was out and we stylishly beat 'Boro in front of the TV cameras.
What was the game of the season?
I suppose it would have to be 'Boro away. They were top and we were second - I think neither of us had lost at that point as well. The Baggies absolutely dominated from start to finish and ended up winning 5-0. The resounding scoreline was also the final nail in Gareth Southgate's coffin as well.
If you were manager what would you be doing this summer?
We desperately need some Premier League experience in the side. Ideally two full-backs, another midfielder and two strikers. We've tried the approach of taking gambles on players who might step-up and failed. Now the chairman needs to start paying Premier League wages if he ever wants to establish us as a top-flight club.
Where do you see the club going from here?
It's difficult to say really. As Albion fans we've all been here before. Our season will probably be determined before a ball has even been kicked with regards to our transfer policy. If we don't build on the squad we've already got we'll be boinging back to the Championship again.
