Stoke and Fulham are both fighting for a top half finish, yet that is small fry to Fulham compared to the upcoming Europa League final. How serious will the hosts be taking this game with that massive final on the horizon?
I reckon Roy will be taking this game serious as he does with most games. Our second string team is no push-over as shown against West Ham's 1st eleven, and I assume that he will have them well-drilled to try and get a top-half finish for the second year in a row.
The Potters are well known for a physical style, although we can play in the final third. What style should we expect from the Cottagers?
We like to soak up the pressure and hit teams on the break with short, flowing passing football.
Roy Hodgon and Tony Pulis are two managers who have worked wonders at our clubs. Pulis though, still has his very vocal critics among the Potters fans, especially when we lose. Are there any Fulham fans who are still not 100% behind Hodgson or is it united support at the Cottage?
I don't think there is one fan out there at the Cottage that does not unite behind Roy. Even if we finished 13th-15th in the table next year the whole fanbase would be behind Roy as he has (as you said) done wonders for our club.
Are there any Stoke players you are wary of?
Ricardo Fuller always looks dangerous and Matthew Etherington always has a habit of playing his best against us.
Who should we keep an eye out for?
Assuming it will be our second string team I would say Dempsey for his innovation and Nevland for his goal-poaching ability.
...and finally, a prediction?
2-1 to the whites with a goal from you coming early on and fro a Delap throw-in
