1) Ryan Shawcross - 32.4% - Defender and skipper was a rock at the back and had a great game alongside the debutant Woodgate. Real mature display in a hostile environment
2) Jonathan Woodgate - 29.7% - Fantastic debut and first start in two years as he won everything in the air and showed his true class and composure on the ball. Very promising signs
3) Robert Huth - 9.5% - Shunted out to right back but made the switch comfortably and looked far better than he did their last season. Winger only got the better of him once all game, and Huth brought him down to ensure the defence could regroup
