The Potters and Spurs played out 120 minutes without anybody netting and then found it hard not to score after needing sixteen penalties before there was a winner. See who was voted top Potter in our poll:
1) Glenn Whelan - 27.0% - Dominated the midfield with a dimunitive and powerful display. Won tackle after tackle in the middle and also tried to drag the Potters through in normal time
2) Matthew Upson - 22.0% - Was on hand time and again to keep the visitors at bay. Defender showed his class with some great distribution and cooly slotted home his penalty under enormous penalty
3) Salif Diao - 14.0% - Came on as a sub and took a huge knock to the head just before the 90 minute whistle after a diving header nearly broke the deadlock. Broke up play well and also drove forward when the chance arose, whilst also knowing when to pass the ball on to someone in a better position
