1) Jermaine Pennant - 36.2% - Winger grabbed one assist, played a key role in another and was a nuisance to the visitors defence throughout. Put in some excellent deliveries and showed his displeasure at having to come off in the 89th minute
2) Jon Walters - 20.0% - Started the game up front and struck a great partnership with Carew, scoring the Potters second goal. Moved out wide after an injury to Etherington but kept going and was pressing right up until the end.
3) Marc Wilson - 14.3% - Was solid and dependable at the back, very assured on the ball, and got forward well, setting up the second with a cross on the overlap. Could well be making the right back slot his own.
