The Potters were beaten by an early brace from defender Chris Baird on Tuesday afternoon but who did you vote the Man of the Match?
Results below:
1) Jermaine Pennant - 39.7% - Winger was the Potters main, some would say only, threat as he attempted to go out in a bang in what could have been his last ever game for the Potters had he not now signed permanently. Covered every blade of grass and showed he is one to roll his sleeves up when needed
2) Robert Huth - 14.3% - Was solid as ever at the back as the defence kept the forwards quiet and was a danger at the other end aswell. Silly booking when he hauled Murphy down which triggers a one match ban
3) Ryan Shawcross - 7.9% - Defender wasn't quite upto scratch in the first ten minutes, Johnson took advantage of one slip but came back really well and didn't give the opposition a snip after that
3) Kenwyne Jones - 7.9% - Kicked and pulled as usual but kept plodding on and getting on the end of balls into the box but confidence is very low at the minute. A goal could well see him hitting the net reguarly again
5) Jon Walters - 6.3%
6) Matthew Etherington - 4.8%
6) Tuncay - 4.8%
8) Danny Collins - 3.2%
8) Dean Whitehead - 3.2%
8) Andy Wilkinson - 3.2%
