City demolished Newcastle by a club record Premier League score and put themselves back in the top half of the table in the process.
A great display saw everybody pull their weight and contribute but who was the best Potter on the park?
Poll results below:
1) Jon Walters - 40.7% - Got the Potters off the mark in the first half with a clever near post header, and never stopped running to press the defence constantly. Dropped to right wing late on and continued to press and hurry the visitors before a great flick put Fuller through for the fourth.
2) Jermaine Pennant - 20.3% - His cross set up the first, his awareness saw him get in position to slot home the second goal and he produced countless other crosses and deliveries aswell as always getting back to help out his full back and make sure the Potters were sound defensively
3) Kenwyne Jones - 12.7% - Was fantastic as a target man and won more than his fair share of headers aswell as holding the ball up and creating space for others. A goal could really see him return to the Kenwyne of old as his performances of late are much improved. Seems to be enjoying himself again
4) Danny Higginbotham - 7.6%
5) Glenn Whelan - 4.2%
6) Asmir Begovic - 3.4%
6) Marc wilson - 3.4%
6) Matthew Etherington - 3.4%
9) Ryan Shawcross - 1.7%
