City may have been disappointed to finish the game with just a point but someone will have that mood slightly improved when they find out they were voted StokeMAD man of the match. Quite a few players received a vote or two but there was one man who ended the vote streets ahead. Here we look at the top 3:
3) Dean Whitehead - 8.1% - Box to box midfielder shrugged off the missing of an early chance to produce a dominant performance in the middle of the park, being in the right place at the right time to break up many a Wigana attack
2) Andy Wilkinson - 11.1% - Played out of position but produced yet another top notch display to come in second. Dealt with the pace and power of Wigan with ease and even got forward and didn't look out of pace on the unfamiliar left side. His solid performance gave Etherington the confidence to go forward at will knowing he had someone behind more than capable of coping
1) Tuncay - 52.5% - Turkish star made his full home league debut and didn't disappoint. Scored his first Potters goal with a fantastic finish in the first half and never gave the away defence a moments peace. Was always o the go whether attacking or chasing and despite countless runs going undetected by the midfield he carried on probing away and was also denied by a great Scharner block and a defender blocking an overhead kick.
