The Potters put in a great performance to come away with a point in last Sundays trip to Everton and now the results are in for the StokeMAD man of the match award.
Of the thirteen players used, twelve were available to vote as Dave KItson only played injury time, seven received votes with Ryan Shawcross and Rory Delap each receiving one vote. Ricardo Fuller was voted man of the match twice and goalkeeper Thomas Sorenson polled 8.2% of the vote to finish 4th.
The top 3 is as follows:
3) Robert Huth - 12.2% - Another faultless display by the defender, scoring the Potters goal with a well directed header
2) Matthew Etherington - 26.5% - Winger has returned to form recently and ran all day, taking pressure off the defence throughout the game and also making many runs that kept the Toffee's defence on their toes.
1) Salif Diao - 28.6% - Defensive midfielder made his first appearance of the season and played fantastically. Many eyebrows were raised prior to the game with the surprise inclusion of the Senegalese international but he broke up numerous attacks before understandably tiring and being subbed
