Stoke Ramblers booked their place in the Midlands Cup final after defeating Telford by three goals to two.
The Ramblers, still in their first ever season, won thanks to a brace from Lee Jaquiss and a first ever goal for defender Dan Heard.
Early pressure from the Ramblers saw them win numerous corners and get balls into the box and they went close to breaking the deadlock on a couple of occasions with Jaquiss and Myatt both unable to finish good chances whilst Wollington was on hand to produce a save when needed at the other end.
The games opening goal came when Jaquiss found himself behind the defence and steadied himself before slotting the ball past the keeper.
After the half time interval the game restarted with a goal for each side as, straight from the kick off, Telford equalled things up when a ball to the back post was expertly controlled before being volleyed past Wollington inside the far post.
The teams weren't level for long though as, again straight from the restart, Cope played the ball inbetween the full back and centre half for Jaquiss to run onto and finish powerfully from 12 yards, the keeper left with no chance.
The Ramblers continued to press, whilst also having to stay strong at the other end when Telford rallied, and grabbed a deserved third when a corner was flicked on to Heard, the ball striking the left back and looping over the keeper and into the net to give the Ramblers some breathing space.
Telford started coming more into the game as the match drew to a conclusion and a strong rearguard display from Stoke was only breached by a debatable penalty decision, one that wasn't really challenged to the ref by the players, that was confidently tucked away by the home sides star striker.
Strong pressure was applied to the Ramblers goal in the dying minutes but Ramblers held on for the 4 minutes of added time to book their spot in the final.
