After an end to end first half, Stafford took the lead through a corner which was headed in from a yard out.
Inside 15 minutes a converted Stoke penalty levelled the two sides, after a driven shot hit a Stafford players hand, which despite the referee stated was accidental, but it had prevented a goal scoring opportunity.
Minutes later Stoke managed to turn the game around, with a goal coming from a corner, as the ball looped into the back of the net.
A box-to-box game that could have had plenty of more goals in it if it wasn't for the solid defences of both sides. Very enjoyable game in Stoke and we look forward to welcoming them to Stafford in March,
