Away Day Review - Cardiff City Stadium - 18/1/11

Journey
The journey down was a steady one, the decision to go straight to West Cardiff for a service stop for all of 10 minutes was a strange one, also being filmed as we got there, whats that about! 9/10
Parking
As there wasn't a massive following parking was easily found in the car park behind the away end, the compound was very secure and very safe 10/10
Atmosphere
It started off very edgy, there was clearly a bit of tension between the two sets of supporters. The atmosphere was largely created by the Stoke fans as usual with the odd chant from the Cardiff fans to our right. Once the game was secure we all relaxed and had a good sing song. 8/10
Pies & Pints
Not having a pie myself I can't fully comment on them, but they seemed popular amongst Stokies. Fosters was the lager on draught which was slightly better than what we offer (Carlsberg) 7/10
Performance & Result
The first 90 minutes wasn't the best, it seemed like neither side wanted to win it, Cardiff had there fair share of possession but didn't do a lot with it. Stoke controlled the game once we went ahead in extra time and passed the ball a la Brazil, cue chants of 'Its Just Like Watching Brazil.' 8/10
