Journey
Considering it was an evening kick-off the journey was pretty steady and the M6 wasn't too bad for a change.
9/10
Parking
We went to the same school we parked at last season but were shocked to see it had gone up from £6 to £10!
Dick Turpin wore a mask you know?
3/10
Old Trafford is simply massive and it's hard not to be impressed by the sheer scale of it The views are always very good as well. The away enclosure however looks a bit tired though and £42 to get in is extortion, pure and simple.
6/10
Atmosphere
As ever the (less than in previous seasons) Stoke following were in good voice and we gave a very good account of ourselves against an even quieter home crowd than usual. I'd love to say the mental when we scored was amazing but we were still down in the concourse drinking and moaning about Danny Collins's part in the opening goal!
7/10 for the Stokies, 4/10 for the home fans.
Pies and Pints
We went for our pre-match pint once again in the social club on the main road (sorry can't recall its name!) It's a couple of quid to get in but the beer is cheap and we had a bap from behind the bar which was OK. Inside the ground we didn't sample the food but we did partake in the Singa beer that was £3.50 a bottle.
7/10
Performance and Result
A decent effort from Stoke, it was probably the right result but you felt that if we'd kept it level for another ten minutes we could have grabbed a precious point.
