Cardiff manager Alan Cork has ended his bidding for Thorne and unless any other clubs come in with a 1.8m offer, Thorne says at the potters.
Cardiff have failed with previous 1.3m and 1.5m offers for the striker who has scored 3 in 3 this season for the potters.
Unless any other clubs have 2 Million Pound to fork out on the striker, it looks like Thorne will not be leaving at all, to the satisfaction of the potters faithful.
The board set an extremely high asking price of 1.8million for the striker and revealed that if that price was reached, understandably they would not be able to turn away the offer. The club has to survive somehow, and not reaching promotion last year took its toll on the finances, 1.5 million down they were.
