City's Nigerian international Seyi Olofinjana has been linked with a move to Hull.
The out-of-favour midfielder has held talks with French side Monaco after they had a £2.5m bid accepted by Stoke but now Premier League side Hull are reportedly interested and even though Olofinjana has passed a medical in France, according to the same reports, he is now holding signing on the dotted line as he would like to remain in the English top flight.
Olofinjana, signed from Wolves for £3m 12 months ago, lost his place in the second half of last season after initially being a fixture in the side, scoring goals against Everton and Arsenal.
