He is a Guinea International who has apparently been followed recently by Blackburn Rovers amoungst others.
There were worries about the player getting a work permit but this has also now been settled and the striker has now officially signed.
Chief Executive Tony Scholes told the official site: "I want him to get 15-20 goals this season" to repay the efforts (and large transfer money!) from Stoke to get him to the Britannia Stadium.
