He told the official press release: "We are delighted by the number of season tickets sold and the message it sends out - that our fans are continuing to support us in large numbers.
"There is reduction of sales of around 15 per cent compared to 12 months ago, but we were expecting a drop because those prices were exceptionally low and we have had to increase them slightly. But overall sales have held up very well indeed."
