The draw has been made for the qualifying draw for the Euro 2012 championships and it has thrown up a couple of potential City stand offs.
England, who could potentially have both Ryan Shawcross and Matthew Etherington in their side for the qualifiers, have been paired with Switzerland, Bulgaria, Montenegro and fellow home nation Wales, who could well have Potters defender Danny Collins back in the squad, if he decides to end his international exile.
City goalkeeper Thomas Sorenson, with Denmark, has been given the task of defeating Portugal, Norway, Cyprus and Iceland whilst fellow Potters stopper Asmir Begovic has seen Bosnia handed a group with France, Romania, Belarus, Albania and Luxembourg.
The big stand off is in group A as Robert Huth's Germany have been paired with Tuncay's Turkey. The rest of the group is Austria, Belgium, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Republic of Ireland duo Liam Lawrence and Glenn Whelan have been handed a tricky task to qualify, Russia, Slovakia, Macedonia, Andorra and Armenia stand in their way.
