Midfielder Tom Soares has signed for Sheffield Wednesday in a loan deal until the end of the season.
Soares, 22, has failed to break into the Potters side since joining in a £1.25m edal from Crystal Palace on deadline day in September 2008.
The pacey star ran the show during the 2-1 home win over Tottenham, winning a penalty for the first goal, but has failed to show that talent on any other occasion he ahs pulled on the shirt and in his cup outings this season he has looked like a man without any belief in his game.
He joined Charlton at the end of last season on a three month loan but couldn't stop the Addicks beiong relegated to League One.
