Boskamp said: "Gerry called me from Egypt and there is a midfield player they think would be good for us. There's a left-back we are interested in and we will speak to his agent on Friday. We also want to bring in a striker and a midfielder."
Although local newspaper The Sentinel are reporting that the Midfielder is based in the premiership and the African left-back is currently based in France.
On the subject of transfers, he told the local paper: "I know my responsibilities, but that is not the money we pay. That is up to others upstairs," said Boskamp.
"I also know," said Boskamp, "that if people are asking £7,000 or £8,000-a-week then they are not our players."
"People told me seven months ago that they (the board) don't want to help, but at the moment everything I have asked they have done. But I understand the club has a limit and I don't want to go over that. I have to live with that. We know that and it is no problem for me."
