He said: "We were miles better than them and for the first hour we controlled the game. We had twice as many shots and deserved to take the lead.
"It was disappointing to lose the game as we should have won, and that would have put us on 19 points and left us still in the play-offs."
He said: "It was a very lucky goal for them as the ball was going wide until it hit Darel and went in, but it seemed to give them a lot more confidence.
"Our heads did not drop, but it was a lucky break for them as they were down when we scored and until that moment they were never in the game.
"It was important to have got three points against Plymouth and I think we should have, so that is disappointing.
"Against Wolves they were the better team, and we can have no complaints about the result. The performance in the Cardiff game was one of the worse since we have been here, but the performance at Plymouth was good. That was pleasing."
He said: "It is good for the players to have a break at this time after playing three games in seven days. Now we can get ready for the game against Derby."
