The Potters home clash with Wigan Athletic has been chosen for live TV coverage on Sky Sports.
The game retains its scheduled date of Saturday 12th December but will now kick off at the earlier time of 12.45pm.
It is the third time the Potters have been chosen by Sky this season after the broadcasters selected City's November games at home to Portsmouth and away at Hull.
