Blades boss Neil Warnock said at the weekend: "I would think the boy should come to us - we are great club and he would have to get past Jason Roberts and Nathan Ellington if he went to Wigan. But ultimately, it would be up to him."
The Stoke City chairman has already said that every player has his price and would be sold if the offer met that valuation, however £600,000 is far below what City would be looking for to release their only attacking option.
