He said: "We wanted to see how things were and make our point to improve the mood in the camp and the club. The chairman seemed to listen to what was said and he got his point across too. It was good to clear the air.
"I don't think anyone was against the club, I think a few just wanted to know what the future was.
"The players wanted to know where the club was going. Whether they (the board) were happy to settle for us being an average club or whether they want us to push on. Now we know everyone wants us to push forward.
"It was a good meeting and I don't think there will be any more unrest."
