John Rudge has told how yesterday's operation was sucessful on Clive's knee.
He told the Official Web-Site: "It was a small but vital operation. Clive had been troubled by the knee for some time and did well to get through to the end of the season," Rudge told the club's website.
"It was a niggling injury caused by a small flap of skin behind the knee. That's now been removed and the area cleaned up."
Meanwhile the club's retained list will be announced on Saturday but there are not expected to be any surprises with Gavin Ward and Gary White on their way out of the club.
