Clarke stalls new deal

Clive Clarke is already at the Britannia Stadium until the end of next season but has interest from Man City and Norwich. Should Stoke fail to get promotion this time round it is likely that Clarke wouldn't be staying for much longer.
Clarke, 22, was offered an extension till 2005 but has is taking his time before signing anything.
John Rudge told Teamtalk:
"We have offered him a new deal but he has turned it down, so we will have to wait and see. He wants to wait until the end of the season, so we'll have a word with him then."
