National media sources are reporting that City striker Richard Cresswell is a target for Championship side Watford, who are looking at a deal for around £500,000.
It is unclear whether the Potters hitman would be willing to move both geographically, and to a lower division, but he would appear to be available for transfer after the re-emergence of Dave Kitson and the signing of Tuncay Sanli.
Cresswell was a vital member of the City side that won promotion and will always be remembered for his willingness to go out of position on the left wing and always put a shift in.
Watford are in the hunt for a replacement for Tommy Smith after the Hornets star man joined the Potters Premier League rivals Portsmouth for £1.8m.
