Crossley has conceded only 1 goal in 5 games since joining Stoke on this loan spell.

John Rudge said: "Steve McClaren (Middlesbrough manager) has done us a tremendous favour by allowing Mark to remain on loan and we appreciate the gesture.

"Mark's been tremendous for us. He wants to keep playing first-team football."
