City defender Andrew Davies has returned to Stoke, after his loan spell at Sheffield United ended.
The Blades loaned the versatile defender, who can play right back aswell as centre back, in mid September and he made eight appearances for the Bramall Lane side.
The former Middlesbrough man signed for Stoke in a £1.5m deal in the summer of 2008 but injuries and poor performances have hampered his Stoke career and he will most likely move on, whether it be a long term loan or permanent deal, in January.
Davies had missed the last couple of games after Blades boss Kevin Blackwell decided to leave him out after having all his eight loanee's fit, with only five allowed in a matchday squad.
