Potters defender Ibrahima Sonko has once again left the club on loan, having eventually signed for Championship side Portsmouth.
Sonko signed for £2m from Reading after the Potters promotion two seasons ago but after a disastrous opening season at the Britannia Stadium, Sonko joined Hull on a season long loan for 2009/10.
The Senegalese defender soon found himself frozen out at the KC Stadium, following a poor start to the season, but after Phil Brown was relieved of his duties, new manager Iain Dowie recalled him to the side but he was soon back out in the cold.
Hull's relegation saw him return to the Potters and, after a late link with Bristol City Sonko joined ex-Stoke manager Steve Cotterill at Portsmouth, for a season long loan.
