I caught up with Rory Delap outside the Galpharm Stadium following todays game and whilst he was signing stickers, shirts, autograph books etc I asked him about his injury.
The Irishman, who came off with a groin strain, stated that it wasn't too bad, just a little stiff, and that it shouldn't cause any problems with the season now a fortnight away, before jumping in his car and driving off.
Delap was the second Potters midfielder to come off in the friendly, after Glenn Whelan was carried off with what looks a serious calf injury whilst winger Matthew Etherington missed the game with a groin strain picked up at Derby on Tuesday.
