The Senegalese internatinal has been on trial with Stoke (and 4 fellow countrymen) at the Brittania Stadium and Tony Pulis has declared himself satisfied with what he has seen so far. Diatta now enters the second week of his trial looking to earn himslef a contract.
Stoke have already splashed out for Matthew Etherington and James Beattie in the transfer window, two signings which have excited the City faithful, and they are being linked to a number of further signings. Tony Pulis has already indicated there could be 2 or 3 more new faces in the coming weeks as Stoke push on to try and maintain their Premier League status.
