2007/8: Wins Uruguayan title
May 2008: Receives first cap for Uruguay, v Norway. He currently has 2 international caps
2008/9: Is a key member of side that over performs by reaching semi finals of Copa Libertadores
August 2009: Signs for Stoke in £5m deal
