Faye, who has recently been linked with a return to one of his former clubs Portsmouth, signed on a one year deal in the summer from Charlton Athletic. Having played a major role in the Potters midfield so far this season, he has signed a 12 month extension to keep him at the club until the summer of 2010.
Home grown defender Wilkinson has recently been a regular at right back, keeping club captain Andy Griffin on the bench, although he looks set to miss this weekends visit of Manchester City having limped off at half time with a foot injury at Spurs. The Stone born player has signed on at Stoke until 2011 showing how pleased manager Tony Pulis has been with his performances at the top level.
The signings both show that The Potters are planning for the future and trying to keep the current squad tied to the club as well as brining in new faces.
