"That's the second half-hour I've played and the groin feels fine," he said. "I'll look to play a full hour next week and then take it from there.
"It's great to be playing again. Now I just have to sort out the passing and what not, then I'll be fine. There were a couple of tackles I went for and the groin felt fine after."
John hasn't played for the potters since february and at times thought that he might not play again.
"I've had my downs when you think the worst," he confided, "but eventually you see the right people and start seeing some light at the end of the tunnel."
