"We all know we can't yet compete financially with the West Hams and West Broms of this world, so we can't get carried away with talk of hitting the top six."
But Pulis does want to establish ourselves as a solid First Division side and this is a method that he hopes will help us to compete with the bigger clubs.
"I've already spoken to a fitness coach about working with us over the next couple of seasons to work on power, athleticism and educating the lads on how to look after themselves.
"I've also lined up a dietician and sports psychologist to work with the lads as a group inititially, then individually if they require that."
