"I was disappointed to have conceded a goal, but the main thing was how we responded after the goal and the second-half I pulled off a couple of good saves which was pleasing and overall I thought I played well.
"Other times I've been away on loan I've been recalled due to injuries back at the club but this time I'm hopeful of staying for the month."
He added: "I'm not sure whether I'll get the chance to play in the final, but it would be a great experience if I did."
