The Robins are also hoping to sign Potters full-back Brian Wilson on a further loan deal.
"I spoke to John Rudge and asked if we could have Karl for another two months," Cheltenham boss John Ward told his club's official website.
"He did not see a problem but wanted to do the loan one month at a time.
"I also asked about Brian Wilson. They were not prepared to let him come back for the Kidderminster game, but I will be speaking to them again at the end of the week.
"If Stoke's player availability situation has improved, then we may be able to take him on loan again."
