In recent weeks Pennant has been sitting on the bench leaving Stoke fans wondering why.
But today it emerges that he may have been taking no notice of a club curfew ahead of a couple of games.
Stoke had managed to keep the situations out of the media, but it is understood two incidents have now occurred.
You have to go back to 4th December for the first one, sources say that Pennant disappeared just before Stoke were due to play Everton at Goodison Park, he did not return to the team hotel until the early hours of the morning and was immediately dropped from the squad.
Stoke have kept that matter under wraps but a second incident occurred at Crawley last month ahead of the FA Cup clash when Pennant was again out on the town again returning in the early hours, this time he was sent home.
Speaking on Thursday, Pulis again refused to confirm any issue with the player - telling Sky Sports News: "You talk about Jermaine all the time, but there are other players in the groups too and this is not about one individual player and never will be and that will not change."
