The 24-year-old striker helped Alex McLeish's side to a ninth place finish after scoring 10 goals in 32 games for the Blues but struggled in his role as a lone striker, collecting just five goals last season.
Jerome put in a lively performance on Sunday making only his second appearance for Tony Pulis' side as they lost 2-0 to newly-promoted Swansea City.
The ?4million man moved to Britannia Stadium on deadline day, scoring on his debut in Stoke's 1-1 draw with Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League three weeks ago.
The striker faces stiff competition after the international break from the likes of Peter Crouch and Jon Walters with former record signing Kenwyne Jones and Ricardo Fuller yet to return.
Jerome claims 10 goals is a realistic target, believing Stoke receive negative press, often noted for their brawn and less for their attacking flare.
"With the people we have here supplying ammunition from the wings, I think double-figures is definitely achievable for all of the strikers at the club," he told Staffordshire newspaper, The Sentinel.
"With the strikers we have here, I think everyone would be disappointed if at least a couple of us didn't hit double figures.
"People label Stoke as long-ball merchants, but I think there is so much more to us than that.
"Since I have been here I have been genuinely surprised by the quality of the players we have."
