With regard to the alleged spitting incedent that saw Luton Striker Steve Howard sent off, Boskamp said: "I didn't see anything, but Carl said he was spat at. I can't say any more about it.
"What I do know is that Luton were the better side for an hour and we were very lucky to win the game.
"They played better football than us and only four of my players performed to the best of their ability."
Luton Boss Mike Newell was angered by the decision.
He said: "He sent him off for spitting at their number two (Carl Hoefkens), but the number two said he didn't know anything about it.
"I have looked Steve in the eyes and he said he didn't spit. I know he is telling me the truth and the referee was wrong.
"The decision cost us big time. We were the better side with 10 men and were well in charge with 11."
