"They say they can't do certain things in my contract which I believe they have done before," he said.
"If the contract was good enough I'd be happy to sign it. I can't go 10 months without football because I've not signed a contract. It's ridiculous. I'm happy to sign a contract that's good enough for me."
"I'm fit, playing reserve games, but I'm not playing in the first team because of the contract situation. It's unfortunate, but that's the way they want to do it, so I'll have to get on with that. I don't agree with them at all.
"You can never tell at a football club what's going to be your first eleven in three months' time, six months or even a year.
"There's no reason for them not to play me or give me a chance to play because they are building a team for next year.
"I'm sure there are some players who are playing now that won't be playing next year, so you can never tell what your starting 11 is going to be. I can see Boskamp's point, but I don't agree with it."
"I've loved my time here," he said. "Stoke have given me the time to play and express myself, and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
"I like the way Johan is trying to make the team play and I'd love to be part of that.
"At the moment I look forward to training everyday. It is hard and the main reason I came to Stoke was to play football and at the moment I'm not doing it.
"If the contract doesn't get sorted out I will have to wait until the summer and get myself another club.
"I've not spoken to anyone else. The transfer window is open again in January, but I've not spoken to anyone.
"I'm not looking to leave in January unless the contract doesn't get sorted out.
"But the main thing for me is that I want to get back playing, and that's what I'm concentrating on.
