During the 1-0 win against WBA on Saturday both Dave Kitson and Ryan Shawcross were forced to leave the field with what looked like potentially serious injuries. Both players have undergone scans on their knee and back respectively, and these scans showed some damage but it is as yet unknown the full nature and extent of the problem.
The loss of both these players would be a blow to Tony Pulis as Kitson was looking like his first goal was just around the corner and Shawcross was starting to look at home in the Premier League after regaining his place at the heart of defence.
If, as appears likely, both are force to miss Saturday's clash with the Tigers, Ricardo Fuller should reclaim his place up front after his suspension, whilst Leon Cort looks set to face his former club, pipping Ibrahima Sonko to the starting position.
