Lawrence doubt for Pompey after freak injury

The Potters player of the year has had x-rays on his ankle which was injured in the incident. The player must now wait and see if he is fit to travel to Fratton Park on Saturday. Lawrence has yet to recapture last season's form after a summer groin operation.

The injury is the latest blow to Tony Pulis and his squad as Ricardo Fuller is still struggling to shake off the effects of a bug he picked up whilst on international duty with Jamaica.
