City's teenage winger Ben Marshall has joined League One side Ben Marshall on a months loan.
The predominantly right sided player, who can play on the left or up front, has already been out on loan twice this season, to League Two strugglers Northampton Town and Cheltenham Town.
Marshall, 18, impressed in both loan spells with both sets of fans upset to see him return to the Potters and will now be hoping that the step up a division, as well as playing for a side that is looking at the top end of the table rather than one scrapping at the bottom, should help him improve his game.
Marshall joined Stoke, along with Matthew Lund, from local rivals Crewe Alexandra last summer after rejecting contracts at Gresty Road and leaving Crewe to join the Premier League Potters.
