Portsmouth youngster Florent Cuvelier has agreed to join Stoke on a two-year deal, according to the player's advisor. The Potters are believed to have beaten off competition from Premier League rivals Manchester City, Fulham and Tottenham to land the 17-year-old. Cuvelier's advisor Alex Levak told skysports.com: "Florent is delighted to have finalised a deal with Stoke. "He was very impressed by Stoke from the off, their professionalism and enthusiasm, and it did not take long to agree. "Florent is now looking forward to being back with a Premier League club and pushing into the first-team squad over the next season."
