Ben Marshall has extended his loan at Carlisle until the end of the season.
Marshall, 19, has agreed to remain at the Cumbrian side for the remainder of this season after spending the last month on loan at the mid table League One side.
Following succesful spells at League Two strugglers Northampton and Cheltenham the pacey winger stepped up a level in the new year and, although struggled to force his way into a starting position, has impressed when coming off the bench.
Marshall scored within moments of stepping off the bench for his debut at Carlisle, sidefooting in past Alex Smithies to equalise against Huddersfield, and also scored for both the Cobblers and Robins earlier in the season.
After signing from Crewe last summer and impressing in pre-seaosn he will be hoping his Potters debut, possibly in the early rounds of the Carling Cup, isn't too far away when he returns to the Britannia Stadium.
