Nash signed the new deal, happy to be the Potters number three keeper behind Asmir Begovic and Thomas Sorensen.
Since joining Stoke there have been very little in the way of chances to get into the first team for Nash, but even at 38, he makes sure as the Potters have good back up in case the call comes.
After the deal was done, Tony Pulis told www.stokecity.com: "It is important for us to have three top goalkeepers in the squad at this level and we are as strong in that department as any Premier League club.
"At this stage of his career, it was only natural that Carlo wanted to explore the possibility of playing first team football elsewhere when his contract expired at the end of last season but we are delighted that he has now decided to stay here.
