"They are a top team with world-class players, but here on our own turf we believe that we can beat any team," Huth told Stoke's official website. "The fact that we are playing Chelsea doesn't give us fear," he added.
Stoke's current home form, which has seen them remain unbeaten in their last nine games in front of their own fans, has been the deciding factor in edging the Potters away from the relegation zone, and Huth feels the team have shown their quality against the best teams in the league.
"We have done well at home recently, and just as importantly we have looked good against the bigger teams this season. We want to make sure that continues to be the case when we play Chelsea at the weekend," he said.
"If we were to sit here and worry about them, then there would be no point in us turning up because they would walk over us."
