| Ex Ram Brian O'Neil will not be signing for Stoke City following contract talks | |||
The 30 year-old Scottish International midfielder was not happy with a short-term contract from the club. O’Neil had been training last week at the Britannia Stadium following his contract termination, by mutual consent, with the Rams. Stoke had implied that they were not prepared to offer a lengthier contract due to the injury proneness O’Neil has been suffering whilst with Derby County. Brian will now look elsewhere for a club but has not ruled out the possibility of returning to Stoke if his search is fruitless. |
